Final Wed Night League Games Oct 19 at 5:45 p.m.
On Wednesday, Oct 19 beginning at 5:45 we will be celebrating our 2022 NCCP Football and Cheer Season. The night will feature a performance by the Cheer Team at 5:50 p.m., and football games for our Wed Night PreK-2nd Grade Teams and our 5th-8th Grade Teams beginning promptly at 6. At 6:45 p.m. we will move inside the church to recognize all of our teams (Wed and Sun), and we will honor the memory of one of our beloved coaches, Ian Beam who passed away last season. Ian loved God, his family and sports! With great enthusiasm and heart, he taught the game of football with dedication and care. The Champions of our 5th-8th Grade League will be awarded the Beam Bowl! We invite our football and cheer families to stay for soup and grilled cheese to conclude the evening.
As part of the celebration, we will be holding a silent auction to benefit Ian’s amazing wife, Stephanie and their six children: Caleb, Jacob, Isaac, Ezekiel, Genevieve and Rebecca. If you would like to contribute an item or basket for the auction, please let Jenn Hanson know as soon as possible. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so at www.nccpumc.com/sports

NCCP Passing League Football & Cheer Program
Established in 2014, our league is based on the concepts of AAU 7 on 7 Passing Leagues highlighting the skill positions of the game of football. It is a fast-paced exciting form of touch football (no tackling). The league is coed and designed for grades K -12 divided into 3 age/ability divisions. We meet once a week. The 2022 Season will begin on August 21 and run through mid October. There is a $25 fee which includes a jersey. We play at NCCP's Greenmount Location at 2001 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, MD. Our Cheer program has become one of the largest programs in the area; our team loves working with Coach Jen Hansen.
f you have any questions about registration for football or cheer, contact pastorjohn@nccpumc.com. Pastor John Rudolph is the director of the league; he is a former teacher, high school administrator and current basketball coach at Delone Catholic High School. |
